5 Things that Changed My Perception of Business Forever...
From the Kennedy/Glazer Inner Circle Summit

I recently attended one of the best events ever. As you have probably heard many times from many people, investing in live trainings and events is essential to your growth. Now I attend A LOT of events, so what made this one so special? Content. Big Thinkers. Unique Ideas.

Here are five of the things that I walked away with:
  1. Heavy hitters in the marketing world don't carry biz cards. Why? I can't tell you but NO ONE had their cards with them.
  2. It's OK to have a quirky, real persona and to share it with your audience. Your readers wan't to know YOU, not some sanitized, washed down version of your message.
  3. People are like cats - they want to be where on the "other side" of the door. In other words, they will clamor and strive for "closed door" sessions, inner circles, and VIP events. Anything where they know they are playing with the cream of the crop and it is exclusive.
  4. Always sell your biggest and best first. Many of us have been training to offer our lower cost programs first, then sell up. This was straight from Dan himself!
  5. And most importantly, Don't build yourself into a box you can't get out of. This was very powerful as I coach people all the time to get out of a business they hate and into one they love.

Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for lots of great changes from my new found ideas. Be sure to subscribe to The Success Connection (www.successconnections.com) to be the first to hear abou them.

A Few More Pix from Phoenix...

Alex Mendossian, me and Tom Antion. Two speaker experts that I think are a
must-see for anyone in the info-preneuring marketplace. (Of course, me too.)

Audrey Hagen -- the most sought after event planner out there.
Luckily I snapped her up and she is taking great care
of the ULTIMATE Business Breakthrough participants.

After 3 days of hotel food, Mark & I took off to enjoy our "mini-vacation"
at the JW Marriott in Phoenix, AZ. If you read my travel blog you
have probably heard me rave about the JW in Palm Desert.
Well after a scrumptious dinner at Roy's at the JW and a stroll around the property
we may have a new favortie. =-)

Maximizing Wealth Event in Phoenix, AZ

October is a major month for events in the entrepreneurial community. Last week I was in Phoenix for Debbie Allen's Maximizing Wealth where I found myself making new connections with friends and associates I hadn't seen in a while. You never know when a conference investment will turn into a major JV opportunity. =-) Below are some pictures...

Wayne Warrington, Founder & CEO of The Epicurean Club

Michele Parizia Wocek of WritingUSA.com, she will be at the UBBI in NOV

John Beede, author of "Climb On" and American's #1 Teen Coach

My Internet Marketing Assistant Extraordinaire -- Terri Romine.
I couldn't run my biz without her.

Conference Producer Lynn Pierce

Real Estate Invester & AM1510 Phoenix
Radio Show Host Matt Harward (I'll post a link to my interview soon)

The infamous Joel Bauer, me and my honey, Mark.
Joel is a legendary magician, a multi-millionaire and a genius with marketing
and positioning in the Corporate market place. As a quick example, he sold 4 of his
biz cards for $200 each (they were very, very cool pop-ups) and then gave
the $$ to a charity. He definitely had my attention!

My Shared Vision Network co-directors: Ray DuGray & Maria Ngo.
I'll be teaching at their http://www.blogger.com/www.InfoMarketingClinic.com in January 2006.

My new friend Mark Anthony (no, not the singer) who trains speakers on the platform skills. This is his friend the hypnotist. (I can't remember his name right now. =(
